USECA

 

The United StausecawebtesElite Coaches Association for Women's Gymnastics (USECA) is an organization for coaches devoted to the progress of elite and age group level gymnastics in America. Members enjoy the benefits of regularly scheduled meetings at major elite level events and USA Gymnastics Congress, representation (with two seats) on the USA Gymnastics Advisory Council and on other USAG Committees, a major voice and influence on the rules, policies and decisions that govern and affect our age group gymnasts and coaches, regular communication with members (a major goal of USECA is to keep you informed on elite level gymnastics and its relationship with all levels of gymnastics). Members also receive the USECA Newsletter published 8 - 10 times per year, recognized as a primary source of information in the gymnastics community. The Journal contains information concerning training - biomechanics, statistical research, psychological preparations, nutrition, strength programs, film analysis, reports on training camps, Congress materials, and more! A large portion of the yearly budget is devoted to providing grants for specific research projects of special interest to our members.

MISSION STATEMENT

The United States Elite Coaches Association was founded to serve gymnastics coaches and others interested in elite women’s gymnastics through educational materials, representation on the USA Gymnastics Advisory Council, and awards to those who have served the Association and elite women’s gymnastics. The U.S.E.C.A. provides elite gymnastics coaches and other members of the Association a vehicle for communication through monthly Journals, video recordings, and a website. The Association is built from volunteer coaches, educators, scientists, judges, and other devoted to elite women’s gymnastics.

U.S.E.C.A. has been serving elite women’s gymnastics since 1976. The annual meeting is held each year in conjunction with the USA Gymnastics National Congress.

VOTING MEMBERS - $175 yearly membership

Member must have qualified “Classic” Elite level athlete within the past two seasons. One vote per membership allowed in all USECA business meetings.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS - $150 yearly membership

Membership is open to all interested coaches, judges and officials of all levels. Members are encouraged to attend all meetings but may not vote.

VIDEO CLUB MEMBERS - $150 yearly membership

Uniquely ours! Video Club membership is available to voting and associate members only. A collection of current video material provided by our members, including domestic and international apparatus fining methods, elements techniques, choreography, educational symposiums, etc. Members will receive a minimum of 8 – 10 selections per year, each containing one or two VHS tapes or DVD's sent directly to you. Previously issued selections may be ordered at a minimal cost.

FOREIGN MEMBERS - $80 and up (depending on postage/handling to country) additional yearly membership. Due to the additional mailing costs, you will be e-mailed the exact amount for approval prior to being charged .

Associate and Video Club membership is available to foreign coaches, judges and officials of all levels. We welcome you to our membership but due to the additional expense of mailing materials to foreign countries, we must charge an additional $80 per year - per membership (for Associate Membership and for Video Membership); you will be e-mailed the exact amount for approval prior to being charged.
